Who we are

Edumate Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 17277398) runs this website and the Edumate Grow app: calm, affordable 11+ preparation, founded by a qualified teacher and based in the UK. Our registered office is 18 The Broadway, East Lane, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 8JU. When we say "we" in these terms, that's who we mean; when we say "you", we mean the parent or carer who holds the account.

The service

This website tells you about Edumate; Edumate Grow is the app itself: short, gentle practice for children from Year 1 to Year 6, with a free Starter tier and a paid Family subscription. It supports your child's learning; like any practice tool, it works alongside school and family life rather than replacing them, and it can't promise any particular exam result.

Accounts and Family profiles

Accounts are parent-first: an adult creates and controls the account, and children use pseudonymous profiles within it. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for what happens under your account.

One Family subscription covers the children in your household: up to 4 child profiles, one price. That's a promise of trust, and we keep it simple on purpose: "your household" means the children you're raising at home, not an unlimited pass to share around.

Acceptable use

Use Edumate normally and kindly: for your own household's learning, not for resale, scraping, copying our content or questions, or trying to break, overload or work around the service or its safety features. If an account is used in a way that harms the service or other families, we may suspend it; we'll always explain why.

Subscriptions and cancellation

The Family subscription is billed at the price shown when you subscribe, monthly or yearly. You can cancel at any time, easily: no retention tricks, no guilt screens, no hidden steps, because we don't do dark patterns. When you cancel, your subscription simply runs to the end of the period you've paid for and doesn't renew.

If we ever get something wrong with billing, tell us and we'll put it right.

Liability, in plain terms

We work hard to keep Edumate available, accurate and safe, but we can't promise it will never be down, never change, or never contain a mistake; no online service honestly can. We're an educational support, not a guarantee of outcomes.

Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights the law gives you as a consumer, or our responsibility for things the law says can't be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute belongs to the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll explain what changed in plain English, and for anything material we'll give you notice before it takes effect. We won't change the deal quietly.
